PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS
There is typically a 4-6 month wait list for psychological and psychoeducational evaluations. When you are the next client on the wait list, your clinician will contact you to gather additional information and schedule the evaluation. Please note that divorced parents must provide proof of custody arrangements at the initial visit.
CHILD THERAPY SERVICES
Depending on clinician availability
ADULT THERAPY SERVICES
If you are interested in adult therapy services, you will be added to the waitlist pool. One of our student clinicians will contact you to conduct a phone screening to ensure you’re a good fit for our clinic. The clinic team (Clinic Director, Supervisor, and Student Clinicians) will determine if the clinic is an appropriate fit for your needs. Your clinician will then contact you to let you know if you will be added to the waitlist and/or to provide referrals.
Once you are assigned a clinician to begin therapy, you will have a free therapy intake appointment. This is typically scheduled within 1-2 weeks of being assigned a clinician and involves an initial structured interview that may take up to two hours. Treatment in the clinic consists of evidence-based interventions, meaning therapy that is backed by research. Most therapy clients in the Clinic are seen for 12-18 sessions, depending on when treatment goals are met.
