Why Study Higher Education?
èßäÊÓƵapp’s Higher Education master’s program provides the tools and resources necessary for the students to excel at the highest level and to be prepared for the challenges of their future careers.
In small cohort-style courses, students experience the networking benefits of small groups and the opportunity to work with professors who regularly discuss current higher-ed research and events with them. Professors focus on students’ individual career interests in order to help them achieve their goals. èßäÊÓƵapp learn from university administrators and practitioners who prepare students for satisfying careers in colleges and universities.
In addition, our master’s students form lifelong connections within their cohorts. In the classroom, students discuss their readings and interests with their peers and collaborate with them on projects. Graduate students and alumni participate in professional development programs coordinated by the (HESA) and èßäÊÓƵapp’s Division of Student Affairs. èßäÊÓƵapp bond with their classmates and support each other both during their time in the program and beyond graduation.
